Arrival Times for June 1st

Putnam Valley HS

 

Arrive in your first costume with hair and makeup done. Please send all other costumes, accessories, dance shoes, makeup, hair stuff, etc.

 

2pm Show

 

Team and Diamond Dancers – 12:15pm

 

Saturday 1:30/2:00 class – 12:45pm (Order of costumes: Opening, ballet, sparkle squad, tap, hip hop, opening dancers then put on all black for finale)

 

Tuesday 4:00 ballet, 4:30 combo – 12:45 (Order of costumes: Ballet, sparkle squad, hip hop, tap)

 

5:30 boys, 6:30 boys – 1:00pm (Order of costumes: Opening, hip hop, opening dancers then put on all black for finale)

 

Saturday Morning Dancers (9am) – 1:00pm (Order of costumes: Ballet, Tap)

 

Happy Heart Dancers – 1:00pm

 

5:30pm Show

Arrival Time: 4:30pm

 

Opening and Tuesday boy Dancers who are in both shows:

Please note that helpers are not responsible for dancers in between shows. Please be sure to sign your dancer out after the 2pm show. You are welcome to hang out/eat in the front of the school. It is recommended to make food arrangements ahead of time.

 

Team and Diamond Dancers can stay backstage in between shows, please make food arrangements for them ahead of time.

 

Recital Drop off: 
During your assigned time you will head to the sign in tables where you will sign your dancer in and say goodbye. A volunteer will then take your dancers belongs and walk them to their assigned area. You will receive a sign out card which you will need in order to pickup your dancer after the show. No parents other than pre assigned volunteers will be permitted beyond the sign in tables. 
Dancers will remain in their dressing room until the show is over. We will provide snacks, coloring and they will be able to see the show on the T.V.

Recital pickup:
For the 2pm show after bows/awards we will dismiss two classes at at time, one on each side of the stage (for dancers 3 - 11) (dancers 12 and up can be picked up from their assigned area by one female). When your class is announced please send one person to the stage stairs with their pickup card to pickup your dancer, then head to their dressing area to collect their belongings. Please do not take dancers from the stage ledge, allow them to walk down the stairs so we are sure to collect pickup cards and get everyone to their parents safely. 

For the 5:30pm show after bows/awards please give us a moment to walk the dancers to their assigned area then send one female per family to pick them up. 

Thank you in advance for your support with this. Our top priority is keeping our children safe. The best way to do this is to prevent people from going back and forth backstage. If you would like to be with your dancer be sure to sign up as a volunteer.
