When –Rehearsal: May 31st, Recital: June 1st

 

Times:

          Rehearsal: 3:00 – 9:00 Each class will be assigned an individual time and can leave after dancing. 

 

           Recital:  2PM & 5:30PM

 

Needed!

Female Backstage volunteers:

Volunteers will stay with their class for the entire show. You will be able to go into the audience to watch you dancer’s routines or you are able to watch from the stage. Volunteers will be responsible for watching the young dancers backstage, taking them to the bathroom and walking them backstage. All classes for dancers ages 2-12 need volunteers, please sign up at the desk. Volunteers will not need to purchase a ticket.

Recital Tickets:

Online tickets will be on sale beginning May 1st.

Cost: $21 per ticket

 

 

Picture Week   May 6th-11th

All Dancers will have their pictures taken at the studio in costume. Pictures will be available for purchase.

 

What to expect at Rehearsal:

 

• Arrive 10 – 15 min ahead of your scheduled time

• Dancers should wear all black attire, the appropriate shoes/sneakers with hair neatly up in a tight ponytail

• Dancers will be allowed to leave after they finish their dances. The amount of time spent at the high school will depend on how many dancers your child is in. Each dance gets about 10 minutes on stage and has a few dances in between for them to change.

• Please note there are no strollers permitted in the theater, there is no food permitted in the theater.

 

What to expect at Recital:

​

• Recital one will begin at 2pm

• Recital two will begin at 5:30pm

• Dancers should arrive with hair and makeup done, team dancers at least one hour before showtime, ages5 and up 45 min before showtime and ages 2– 4 year olds 30 min before showtime. Please tell your guests to arrive with plenty of time to take pictures and be seated.

• Volunteers please arrive one hour before showtime

• Dancers need to be signed in by a female at their designated area (See list in May)

• Once signed in they are okay to be left while you take your seat (check that cell number on sign in sheet is up to date)

• Dancers will remain in their assigned area throughout the show. There will be teens and female volunteers to assist them                with changing and anything else they may need. If your dancer has one dance in each act a female can come help them                change during intermission.

• Dancers will be able to watch the recital on the large T.V. in the cafeteria

• All dancers will be brought back to the stage to bow and receive their award at the end of the recital

• After bows/awards dancers will be brought back to their table/changing room where they need to be signed out

• Volunteers please plan to stay until all dancers are signed out

• It is recommended to send clean snacks and water for your dancers
